EP 415: Let Me Take Him Home-From the Pages of Full Cry

"Let me take him home” is a great representation of a houndsman’s heart.  Even when surrounded by evil in the big city, a country boy has the courage to stand up and take on an angry mob to defend one of his own kind. While those that do not understand our way of life cry for blood, this young man goes to blows to protect a veteran coondog that is as misplaced in the city as himself.  Though he has never seen this particular dog before it is clear he “knows” him and his kind.  This young man was willing to put his life on the line against the mob to give the respect and decency that this old hound deserves.  Our world would be a lot better if everyone could see through this young man’s eyes.  We would like to thank those who support this podcast.
