There is nothing wrong with positive feedback. But a feedback-positive culture can train people to accept feedback, nod their heads, and say yes without ever truly letting the feedback reach them. The feedback that makes a difference creates disruption, and leadership is forged by sitting with the discomfort instead of explaining, justifying, or turning it into the next action.
