Peaches is officially 11 days away from turning 30, which somehow leads to screaming “I’m getting older” like Tom Barber from Darko, before the show takes a turn into weird walking trails, terrifying horses, and why watching a horror movie after dark is apparently a terrible idea. Peaches talks about a U.S. Army battalion reportedly offering soldiers a four-day pass to play GTA 6 as a re-enlistment incentive, questions whether anyone actually cares about the MTV VMAs anymore, and wonders why the definition of “alternative” music has become so broad that Harry Styles can apparently end up in the conversation. He also tries to figure out whether anyone at the office actually wants to play fantasy football this year, breaks down some bizarre sports stories, complains about California traffic and people who think Idaho is becoming Los Angeles, and settles an AITA-style argument involving a guy who refused to let his friend bring an uninvited girlfriend to his birthday dinner. Then things get increasingly ridiculous with Lowe’s and Home Depot fighting for Halloween decoration supremacy, a woman paying $4.08 on Etsy for a witch to tell her when she’ll find love, Liquid Death and Jason Kelce collecting pee to talk about AI data center water usage, people completely failing to understand four-way flashing red lights, and parents getting upset about a Titanic-themed slide at a family farm. Peaches also weighs in on non-alcoholic beer at work, Amazon drivers complaining about heavy cases of water, an HOA getting beaten at its own game by a woman spray-painting her dying bush green, a bear breaking into a Kentucky home for some KFC, and the surprisingly stupid origins of band names like Hoobastank and Hootie & the Blowfish.
