Ep. 42 - Good news for Bees!

from The Conservation Conversation - Season 1 · host Erik E. Crown

Are bee populations in the United States really increasing in 2020?    We all know everybody's heard the news that bees are one of the most important pollinators in all of nature and everything that we eat depends on them. Literally everything is pollinated by bees and we saw a rapid decline in their population in recent years. One of the main reasons were GMOs. When a bee or a “pest” eats a part of a GMO crop, their stomachs will explode! That is like chemical warfare on our insects and pollinators.   BUT - I have two pieces of good news to share with you.
