She was raised in a modern-traditional Mexican household with her parents both from Zacatecas Mexico. Growing up, she spent her vacations from school visiting Mexico lindo. For three years, Gabriela pursued a career at an immigration law firm, but she has since quit her job and pursued her small business Lavaderitos, selling beautiful concrete dishes for washing and cleaning makeup brushes.
