Dies ist die dritte studentische Folge, die aus dem von Dr. Daniel Mahla und Philipp Grammes geleiteten Kurs zu "Juden in Deutschland nach 1945" hervorging. Föhrenwald bei Wolfratshausen (heute Waldram) war eines der größten DP-Lager nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg. Hier lebten bis 1957 vor allem jüdische Displaced Persons zusammen. Während die Erwachsenen im Lager die traumatischen Erfahrungen der Verfolgung im Holocaust verarbeiten mussten, erlebten die meisten Kinder in Föhrenwald eine schöne, naturnahe Kindheit. So auch Helene Berger und Robbi Waks, von deren Kindheitserinnerungen diese Podcastfolge bereichert wird.
