Ep 42: One Night in Miami
from The Dive-In Moviecast Hosted by Hayden Koutras
This week on The Dive-In Moviecast, we are headed to Miami for a discussion about Regina King’s remarkable directorial debut ‘One Night In Miami’. We kick off the episode with a brief talk about Wandavision and the return of the MCU in our lives, our initial mixed feelings that have quickly grown into a appreciation towards it, and where we think the story is headed. We then fully dive into ‘One Night in Miami’ and talk the writing from Kemp Powers, the performances from all four of our leads and how well they capture the people they’re portraying, how interesting it is to imagine the conversations between such important figures, what makes a good Play to Film adaptation, and much more!
