Ep 43 John Vittas: Voice of the Ft. Myers Mighty Mussels

On todays episode, John, Zak and Ty had a great conversation with Broadcaster John Vittas. John is the Play by Play broadcaster for the Ft. Myers Mighty Mussels. They are the Low-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. John talks about playing HS baseball in New Jersey while broadcasting different sports at his school. Then pursuing the craft at the University of Maryland. He talks about his time working at MLB Network and the people he was able to learn from before calling pro games in the booth. Of course we had to touch on some of the prospects he was able to watch every day while he was broadcasting for the Charlotte Stone Crabs (Single A Tampa Bay Rays) before Ft. Myers, like Wander Franco and Shane McClanahan. John gave some great insight to the new rule changes and give us a glimpse of what other changes could come in the future.
