Ep.44: Splinter(2008)

from Celluloid Fever Dreams · host Wyndham Jennings

Continuing the Horror theme with this zombie/body horror film from 2008. Two couples trapped in a gas station in the middle of nowhere must survive the night against a fungus that takes over your body and consumes you from the inside while controlling you to infect others. It's a tense, creepy roller coaster of a film that squeezes everything out of it's premise, setting, and budget. Join host Wyndham Jennings as he dissects this under appreciated indie horror and answers The Most Important Question in Film! Is it entertaining?
