Ep 45 - D2: The Mighty Ducks
from Save the Last Pod Hosted by Pink Among Men
The Summer Olympics are in full swing but, like most good Americans, we're more excited for the winter games so we can watch hockey – specifically Goodwill Games hockey. This week on Save the Last Pod, it's a Disney teen movie sequel to the youth sports classic that banged so hard it spawned an NHL franchise. It's D2: The Mighty Ducks! In this episode, Amy and Dan welcome back several familiar faces to the podcast, talk about NHL 94, and argue about the origin of the Bash Brothers. Amy also dishes on her favorite Ducks and she debates with Dan: Knucklepuck vs Annexation of Puerto Rico. Why don't you pour yourself a fat bowl of Wheaties, slip into some Hendricks gear and let us take you back to a time when Iceland was the bad guy. Are you enjoying what you're hearing? Your thoughts are not just important. They mean more than John Hughes to us. Please take a moment to leave us a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, GoodPods, or your preferred platform.
