Ep.45 LoveJordan- Mizog Art Podcast
from Ministry of Arts Podcast · host Gart Mansfield
In this episode Gary Mansfield talks to art duo LoveJordan (@lovejordanart) This is the second of three episodes featuring artists from a group exhibition called ‘A River Runs Through It’, showing at Gallery Oxo at the base of The Oxo Tower, on London’s Southbank running from 4-8 September. LoveJordan is an art duo comprising of Johnny Love and Samuel Jordan. Their work feels like a feat of aesthetic endurance, at first sight. It can be row after row of small, corked bottles containing various amounts of pigments, quietly waiting to be noticed by the viewer. You would be wrong to presume that LoveJordan employ a team of assistance to create their work. One piece consisted of over 130,000 elements, which was carefully flown to the Miami Art Basel, by the Woolff Gallery. Fortunate for all involved, flying it home was not necessary, as it sold within hours.
