Ep 46 - Brynn Alise Schmidt's Journey from Self-Taught Photographer to Conservation Advocate
from Landscape Photography World · host Grant Swinbourne
This time I’ll be talking to Brynn Alise Scmidt about her stunning landscape and wildlife photography. Brynn is a photographer who loves adventure, nature, and wildlife which you will see through her images. She is also a passionate advocate for conservation. Brynn and her husband have raised their boys since they were toddlers in the outdoors and have spent a lot of time in the mountains and at the beach. They live in Boulder, Colorado, and spend most of their time in the western states, southern California and Maui. Her family spends a lot of time in nature with photography, rock climbing, camping, hiking, backpacking, and snowshoeing/cross-country skiing. Brynn is also a writer for the Outbound Collective. We talk about how she has taught herself photography through trial and error and how she’s overcome initial struggles with understanding her gear to create beautiful art images. We also touch on the impact of crowds in many locations and even in some wilderness areas due to over exposure on social media along with a whole lot more! I hope you enjoy the show!
