Rancho Coastal Humane Society is dedicated to saving lives of abandoned companion animals, promoting adoption into loving homes, and offering education programs and support services that inspire and strengthen the human-animal bond. Visit the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce here https://carlsbad.org/  Beyond The Adoption Of The Animals In The Shelter The Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s Community Pet Food Bank is focused on helping low-income families in need of financial assistance who can’t afford to care for their pets. The Animal Safehouse Programm provides temporary boarded care for pets of domestic violence. Beyond caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, the program has welcomed tortoises, chickens, snakes, rats, and a variety of other creatures as well.  The Youth Program component and other educational programs at Rancho Coastal Humane Society are a cornerstone of the organization. They teach humane education to kids, about empathy and how to treat animals. They have a robust humane education program that does everything from doing birthday parties to spring, summer, and fall camps for kids.
