Ep 47: The Easy Yoke

Romans 12:2 This week Robert details his trip to the Christening of the USS Patrick R Gallagher (DD-127). He tells about his travels to Bath ME, and gives a few of the highlights of the event.  Then Chris takes us to a few scriptures that God brought up in his reading this week. We start discussing Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Robert explains how relevant this scripture has been to his daily walk recently. Then Chris draws the connection to Hebrews 4:12-16. We talk about how God exposes who we really are and why knowing that he loves us anyway allows us to go boldly before his throne.  May Psalms 139:23-24 be your prayer as you learn to let God expose areas you need to shave off in your daily life.
