This week we interview aesthetic RN Cindy Mei. Cindy is an aesthetic injector in the New York City area. She got started in her RN career originally because her parents wanted her to become a doctor. Got into aesthetics after discovering that there was a path to combine beauty and medicine, so after college she took time to study aesthetic medicine. At the age of 25, Cindy was already getting botox which later led her to get a job as a nurse at that same plastic surgeon office.. currently at Madnani Facial Plastics. For trends in the NYC, she notices the clientele is much younger and more educated now than what it use to be; as well as, more energy-based device treatments being done. She gets a lot of new patients from social media, majority in ages from 30 to 50. She gives her take on Hyaluron Pens, providers to follow for education, and being well-rounded in a global perspective of aesthetics. Instagram: @cinnmei_rn
