In a week where:Politics is fucked.A man is arrested in Essex after police found 39 bodies in a lorry container. In the 1st of 2 Life topics: (6:45) Meghan Markle (Or the Duchess of Sussex for those who care about Royal stuff) has been going through it. Tabloids & British TV media popping shots, suing said tabloids, doing all that Royal stuff, all in the same year she has a baby. A recent 1-to-1 interview showed her clearly struggling mentally and I felt like this was worth talking about, even though I'm not into Royal matters in any way. In Film/TV: (20:35) You may remember the episode where I talked about Martin Scorsese and his comments on the MCU. Well, since then, a few more people on both sides have chimed in, but I found an Op-Ed that perfectly put all of this in perspective. Put simply, everyone, to a degree, is right. In Sports: (35:05) The NBA is BACK and you know your boy is hyped. It's already two days in as of the release of this episode, but one game won't affect my predictions for the season ahead.Lastly, in the 2nd Life topic: (51:41) The new adaptation of "Watchmen" has begun and star of the show Regina King shared a very fascinating article on the Tulsa 1921 Race Riots, which is loosely covered in the show.Thank you for listening!
