As much as we all wanted to avoid it we had to address the elephant in the room. SURVIVING this damn doc-series! This week was full of triggers that brought a lot of different emotions to the surface. So many different takes and opinions regarding the #RKelly scandal. Victim shaming was at an all time high. Several different people chimed in to give their opinions like #ChanceTheRapper #JohnLegend and #CharlamagneThaGod. We had to dig deep into the aftermath. The shock of hearing those that continue to sympathize with a predator and those who took the docu-series to expose the division between black men and black women.
