She shares how an initial dislike of math turned into a fascination with quantitative ecology and how she hopes her research will inform conservation. The two also reminisce about their trip to Alaska with friends and colleagues to study black brant on the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge. www.ducks.org/DUPodcast
