Story 1: Camp Heartland, a summer camp built on acceptance, refuge, and hope, became a sanctuary for thousands of children living with HIV and AIDS—offering them a rare space where they could shed the fear and judgment that often shadowed their daily lives. Story 2: Artist and designer Ivan Owen pioneered the world’s first open-source 3D-printed prosthetic—but instead of profiting, he made the design freely available online for anyone to download, modify, and create. This act of generosity led to the formation of e-NABLE, a collective dedicated to empowering individuals and communities worldwide. Story 3: Following a devastating incident, Kirsten Bridegan created "Bexley Boxes," which are refillable kits distributed to police stations to better equip them for interacting with traumatized children. Each Bexley Box™ contains essentials and comforting items to calm children in times of crisis.
