Ep. 5 - Osmosis Jones
from Reel Science Cast Hosted by Reel Science
Good morning, nerds! On this loooooong episode, the boyz sat down to digest Osmosis Jones, the 2001 romantic comedy starring Chris Rock and David Hyde Pierce, who team up to prevent Laurence Fishburne from murdering Bill Murray. Trust me, it makes more sense in the movie. Sort of. Get ready to cover some gross bodily functions and viral pathogenesis! We go through a little bit of how the human body reacts to foreign pathogens, talk about treating viruses vs. bacteria, and issue a formal apology to Kristin Wiig. We'll be watching The Andromeda Strain in a week and airing it on December 5th, so get to watching and send your questions in!
