Ep. 5 - Paul Mainwaring
from Desert Island Goals Hosted by Desert Island Goals
This episode, we're joined by Paul Mainwaring, better known as Mainz. Mainz takes us through his childhood love for Liverpool, gives us a history lesson on football in England before the Premier League, and explains why Steven Gerrard was never the same for England as he was for his beloved reds. Come for the goals, stay for the high level analysis of Liverpool through the Premier League years, and share a few laughs with us too. Mainz will tell you all about how he's fed up with nonsense punditry from ex-players and Twitter fans alike, why Chelsea now have the respect that Manchester City crave as a club, plus why he no longer identifies as an England fan. It's a great chat; we hope you enjoy! Follow Mainz @Mainzey7 on Twitter and Instagram.
