Ep. 5 | The Hunt For "DK" With Mike Reed, A New Property Leads To A Giant Buck For Aidan Epperson

We're back for another episode of the "After Hours" podcast and this one is no slouch. Diving right in, the guys discuss two different hunts that came to an end in the past few days that resulted in giant bucks. Kicking it off is Aidan Epperson, a team member of Midwest Whitetail who hunts in Missouri with his brother Avery. After recently acquiring hunting permission on a new piece in the middle of October with good friend Tyler Behlman, the duo is able to get it done on the #1 target only 6 hunts into the season. Following this, Mike Reed deep dives on his memorable October 30th hunt for his top target of the 2023 season "DK." A buck that Mike has multiple years of history with, we get into the details of what led Mike to the infamous pinch and even give some sneak peak footage into what the Iowa giant looks like on the hoof. Mike also addresses how he recovered the buck and for those familiar with the River Farm, let's just say things got wet again!
