Original Publish Date: June 30, 2020 Tiger King took the world by storm just as quarantine began and served as a uniting force in the midst of an unprecedented trial. In this episode, Misty and Amarilys set the stage for the murder-for-hire+ story by talking about the main characters.  You'll hear all about that B Carole Baskin, all the loves of Joe Exotic's life, a man with tattooed metal legs, and all the other citizens of Crazy Tigerland.   . . In next week's On The Doc episode, we will hash out the adventures of all these people but in the meantime, get to know the people of Tiger King. . . Programming note:  Misty and Amarilys are just two Southern Baptist girls from Alabama who always try to be respectful of everyone regardless of sex, age, race, religion, sexual preference, etc.  In this episode, they refer to Saff as "he" because Saff has been on the record as preferring to use that pronoun.  Please take no offense if they revert to "she" on accident occasionally during the discussion.  They're just trying to keep up with culture and still be mindful of everyone's perspectives and beliefs.  No disrespect intended to ANYONE on any side of the issue.   . .
