This week we celebrate 50 EPISODES of ‘Work Hates’, and who better to celebrate with than Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes. This man is Australian comedy royalty, with one of the most distinct voices on the planet, but more importantly, a work ethic that is incomparable to any other. Hughesy comes from a working class family in Warrnambool, and the way the man hustles it would seem he hasn’t shaken that identity even in the slightest. The man WORKS HARD! From working in an abattoir to being a bricklayer’s runner, he isn’t afraid to get uncomfortable. In saying that, he has been fired from everything except comedy, so it’s bloody lucky his comedy career took off.
