EP 50 Farewell For Now

This is the most emotional episode I've ever had to record.After over a year and 50 episodes, the Road Podcast is taking a break. It's not because the journey wasn't valuable—it's because I refuse to do anything half-arsed anymore. In this episode, I'm honest about why I'm stepping back: I'm spreading myself too thin across five different reservoirs—the podcast, the band, my relationships, building Adam Media, and everything else—and none of them are getting what they deserve.I came into podcasting knowing nothing about media. It taught me editing, storytelling, how to speak on camera, how to deliver. Skills that got me out of a 21-year cage as a mechanic and into building my own business. For that, I'm forever grateful.But I can't maintain the quality I set out to deliver. I haven't even listened to my last five episodes because I didn't have the time to nail them properly. That's not fair to you or to me. The early episodes had focus. They had energy. And I won't let this become something I'm just keeping rolling.I'm thanking everyone who listened, every guest who came on—from Vietnam to Mexico to America and everywhere in between—and everyone who believed in what we were building.
