Ep. 503 – Bonus: Great Lakes Region Teal and Early-Goose Update

DUCKS UNLIMITED NATION TRIP AUCTION!Host Chris Jennings is joined by Jay Anglin, Great Lakes Region Migration Editor for ducks.org, to discuss habitat conditions in and around the Great Lakes Region. Anglin describes dry, hot conditions throughout much of the area, but notes that there are some highlights in quality habitat and a cool front pushing through later this week. An early cool front, combined with last week’s full moon may have hurt some teal hunters in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, but the next front could bring additional bluewings to traditional migration corridors.
