Sheli McCoy is better known as "Sabre" from Gladiators, the British TV endurance sports game show, which she first appeared on in 2024. She is recognised as one of the stand-out stars of the show, going on to be a guest speaker for the Dundee University giving their Annual Public Lecture in Entrepreneurship, appearing on the BBC One charity fundraising show Comic Relief, the television quiz shows The Weakest Link and on The Wheel as one of the celebrity experts. Sheli is a fitness industry entrepreneur, who co-owns SweatBox in Dundee, a gym and health facility that houses her sports clinic, gym facility and Olympic weightlifting club. She set three Scottish weightlifting records in 2023 and she’s worked as a Personal trainer for over 13 years and has 10 years experience as a Crossfit Coach.
