Ep 51: Book review of the Forever Sea by Joshua Phillip Johnson

Hey ecofictologists and welcome to episode 51 of the Ecofictology podcast! This minisode Monday, i am bringing you my book review of The Forever Sea by Joshua Phillip Johnson. It is an ecofantasy novel that I got super excited about as soon as I heard about it, I think it was mentioned on the Writing Excuses podcast which I absolutely love and all but tripped over myself to grab it once i heard that it had a magic system involving music and had an ecological message. I am always looking for more ecological themes in epic fantasy and this book has pirates, monsters, a cool magic system, and water shortages due to finite resources. It’s perfect for me.
