EP#51 Jesse's Paddle

from No, I Know Podcast · host Ilyana Kadushin

While the subject of suicide and prevention may be uncomfortable and painful to hear,we believe that it is time to examine what is happening to our fellow citizens and hear from an organization like JESSE'S PADDLE. It was created out of the loss of Jesse Klump, a promising high school student who committed suicide and his community's dedication to open this conversation and support those who deserve and need support. Special Guests: Hear our powerful conversation with Chrissy Ehrhart, Vice President and Ronald W. Pilling, Secretary/Treasurer from JESSE KLUMP SUICIDE AWARENESS AND PREVENTION PROGRAM. Our conversation includes: What are the risk factors and warning signs that may cause someone to consider or commit suicide? How can we keep someone safe until help is found? What actions should we take or not take? What is the link between community engagement, altruism and suicide prevention? Music Segment: Ilyana and James perform "Joy of Life", music and lyrics by James Harrell.
