Irish comedian Emma Doran embarked on her first ever stand-up gig while on maternity leave, that evening she won best act of the night and has been gigging non-stop since. Emma has garnered over 318k followers on social media for her stand up clips and sketches. In 2022 her debut nationwide Ireland stand up tour “Mad Isn’t It” was a sell out with seven dates at Dublin’s Vicar Street. In the same year Emma co-wrote and starred in sketch show “No Worries if Not” on RTE, the second series of which was released in January 2025. Emma currently co-hosts the podcast Keep It Tight with Deirdre O’Kane and her book Mad Isn’t It was published by Gill Books in 2024 to critical acclaim, reaching number 4 on the bestseller list. It is a hilarious and moving memoir about family, friendship, (young) motherhood and taking risks. Emma has recently wrapped her biggest tour to date with Dilemma, which sold over 20,000 tickets across 60+ shows (including six sell-out nights at Vicar Street and two sell-out London Leicester Square Theatre dates) and was extended due to popular demand.
