Moses, Joseph, David, and even Jesus showed their Faith through their works. There are no shortcuts in Faith. Read all through the Bible and you'll find story after story where someone had to exercise their Faith by their works. You also don't see work done in vain that glorifies God. So, the opposite is also true, Work without Faith is Dead. I think this is very important for the believer to understand that work is not enough. Our Faith in Christ matters. Don't chase a prophetic word because you want God to be a fortune teller. That's a slave mentality at it's core. Remember, blessings don't always look like what you expected.
