Ep. 53 - From Software to Music

Adrienne's music life prior to age 33 is a couple years of collegiate a cappella… and a terrible 6th grade theater class. Adrienne works in software development for a grueling decade before a sudden exit. She starts taking voice lessons for fun, and her instructor at the time invites her to join a band. Several quartets, duos, groups (including Girls on Top!) and genres later… Adrienne decides to take her knowledge gaps into her own hands. Adrienne learns vocal technique through sheer determination and curiosity – and starts teaching voice from her basement. Adrienne and Justin find out they've both subbed for the same band. Adrienne's UK foray is next, and one of the consequences of her collaborative trip is named Justin Leighton Long.
