Taya Hanson, K-Towns' finest, pulls up on Canada Hoops! Taya sits down with your boy Matty to share her basketball story thus far. Taya talks about her 2023 summer with Canada Basketball and tells us about getting ready to start her 1st season as a professional with TK Hannover in Germany. Taya tells Matty what it was like growing up in Kelowna, British Columbia, as she found her passion for basketball and starts to put the work in to develop her game. Taya talks about making her transition to NCAA Division 1 basketball as an Arizona State Sun Devil. Taya reflects fondly on her time at ASU before she plays one last year at Oregon. Taya tells Matty about playing in the PAC12 and how the conference is changing. And you know we get into the Canada Basketball story with Taya. Taya talks about playing for Canada Basketball and what it means to her and her family. For Taya, playing in the red and white , especially on the SWNT, is a dream realized. Taya mentions some of her new found friendships with teammates on the SWNT and how she relishes being the complete teammate.
