Aahz was a nightclub theme at the Beacham Theatre in Orlando, Florida from 1988–1992. The Aahz-themed events were part of the "Late Night" series at the Beacham. The final Aahz-themed events were held between September 1991 and July 1992. The Edge was a nightclub in Orlando, Florida that opened in 1992. It was a popular venue for the Florida breaks, Houseand early trance music scene, which emerged in the late 1980s at the Beacham Theatre. There were also ones in Jacksonville and Ft Lauderdale. The Masquerade Atlanta opened in 1989 at the historic DuPre Excelsior Mill converted into a concert/nightclub venue, hosting styles ranging from punk rock to electronic music. Its three stages, named after the afterlife destinations—Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell—forge distinct musical identities. The club still exists at a new location but it will never have the same vibe it once carried.
