 From just a local lad living in a Kurla chawl to a high-flying rapper gigging across the country and working with some of the best producers in India. Naved Shaikh aka Naezy is our headliner on Maed in India this week as he talks about his debut album coming out this year and how doing what he loves is still a struggle for him regardless of his success. He also throws down some of his raps and new unreleased material from his upcoming record. The opening act for this episode is blues-soul singer-songwriter Naina Kundu, who features on next week's show. PS. For this interview, Naezy felt more comfortable chatting in Hindi with me, and currently, my own Hindi-speaking and Hindi-understanding skills are very much sub-par.
