EP#54: Jesus Tempted in the Wilderness

It is true, Jesus was led by the spirit to be tempted by the devil after fasting forty days and forty nights. Jesus gives a perfect example of how to overcome various temptations (Matthew 4:1-11). Jesus uses the word of God as his defense mechamism to stand firm and not falter. He declares bodly and with such authority "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Jesus used the word of God to dismantle Satan wicked plans and attacks and we should do the same! The Lord has granted all believers the same power & authority to evercome every temptation that may come our way.
