Ep. 54: Killer Sally
from On The Doc Hosted by Amarilys and Misty
The bad news: Last fall, we recorded this episode and totally forgot to release it. But gosh, it is such a great documentary! The good news: We remembered it thanks to a listener suggestion and here it is cued up and ready for your listening pleasure! Killer Sally: After years of abuse, former Marine and bodybuilder Sally McNeil snapped on Valentine's Day 1995 and killed her husband Ray McNeil, also a former Marine and award winning bodybuilder. Their story is what true crime documentaries are made of. The backstory is compelling, the victim and her children are incredibly sympathetic, and the story is heartbreaking. Streaming on Netflix.
