Ep 54: Preventing Murder in Slow Motion™: Red Flags with Rachel Williams, Part 1

from Crime Analyst · host Laura Richards

Laura interviews survivor, advocate and all-round inspiration Rachel Williams. After 18 years of being in a relationship, Rachel was shot and severely injured by her violent partner, Darren Williams in 2011. Fortunately, Rachel survived due to her own determination and quick thinking. Williams then took his own life, as did her 16-year-old son Jack, shortly after the attack. This is Rachel’s story. Please be advised that this is series may be triggering and it will be angry making and distressing. Rachel has been part of the successful campaign to stop abusive men going from one partner to another. Police, prison and probation services must proactively identify, assess and manage serial domestic abusers and stalkers and ensure that they are included on the same database as sex offenders.
