He also discussed some of the innovation happening at the Cleveland Clinic, specifically with something called the Endoflip.Outlining the benefits of this diagnostic technique, Dr Hairdry, said: “The first thing it improves is the patient experience because what can often be a prolonged and fragmented diagnostic journey is brought together. So, from a patient perspective it’s great. They get an answer, they’ve got something to hang their hat on and then they know what they need doing.”He also explained the efficiencies and cost savings on offer for the wider health system.
