Heavy Metal always had a blues swagger to it a sense of swing and easily accessible chord structures, That with little practice you could build the heaviest music in the world.But that swagger, that drive and access point seems to have got lost. More and more we are bombarded by cold impenetrable monolithic chords and million note solo's.This is not a bad thing ( i love all this stuff) but i also long for the soul of the blues that drives all the classics of the past.
