Ep 54 - Will Cockerell. Is the JOGLE world record a lie?

from JOG ON · host Harry Morgan 2020

Dan's time: 9 Days 21 hours In May 2002, the John O'Groats to Lands End record was taken apart, by a man named Andi Rivett. But 18 years later, one man has some questions about this extraordinary feat. After an introduction from previous guest and ultra runner Chris Finill, Harry meets with Will Cockerell. Will is a wonderful marathon runner, journalist and author of the book 'The 50 Greatest Marathons of All Time' and a huge authority on the sport. Will gives a detailed analysis of the 2002 record and why he holds some doubt over its validity. We reached out to Andi RIvett and Ivor Lloyd for comment, but heard nothing back.
