Jared updates us on all the admin logistics that he’s managing with Blue Devils B. Peyton Brillhart and Spirit of Atlanta have been putting the last dots on the field for their production “Rocket” after an unprecedented free day. With the Boston (Colorado?) Crusaders, Joe Zishka and Wes Booker report high spirits even with the added challenge of flying the corps to a new spring training site. Jana Paulson shares how the Madison Scouts are dealing with extreme temperature swings in Wisconsin and helping the drum majors and membership adapt to drum corps life. Miguel Flores-Padilla reveals the Blue Devils’ mental approach to this season so far and how the drum majors are leading with personality first. In their literal spring training “bubble,” Vanguard DM Megan Conlan is dialing in those ever-so-important communication skills.
