Ep. 55 - Thankful for the Darkness

Have you ever heard the phrase that 'pain draws you near to God"? If you have been listening to our testimony over the last year than you know that our marriage and life has faced many trials and has endured much pain. I would imagine most of you listening have also experienced trials similar to this in your life as well. Those dark seasons can feel very lonely, cold and similiar to walking through darkness. If this darkness in our life brings us so much pain and discomfort, why then would we or anyone for that matter be thankful for it? Isaiah 50: 10-11 lets us know that even in our darkest dasys, our faith in Christ is the only light we need. Do not light your own torch!
