Thanks for tuning in to the Real Women Chronicles podcast. I am your international certified life coach, T. Audra Taylor. The sole purpose of this podcast is to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.
Yes, it's time to break chains and to get unstuck. Thanks again for joining in. Let's begin. Hello and thank you for joining in for yet again.
Another Real Women Chronicles podcast. I am your host as always certified life and relationship coach, T. Audra Taylor. We are on podcast number 55, y'all.
I swear this, it just seems like I've been doing this podcast for like 10 years. I'm fairly still new at it, but we are moving right along. And yet again, it's another Wednesday. If you are unfamiliar with this podcast, I typically post each and every Wednesday.
I normally post in the evening on Wednesday. So just FYI, if you're looking for me to post something early in the morning, I will try to get better, but for the most part, my day is busy. So I can't typically post these podcasts until Wednesday evening, but again, I'm going to try to get better at it. But each and every Wednesday, you should have a new podcast to listen to.
So make sure that you subscribe to my podcast channel. And y'all, I am really, really hoping that each and every one of you guys out here listening to this podcast are in good health, given this whole coronavirus madness that we have going on. I'm just thankful that God has kept me and my family and good health so that I can continue to do these podcasts and just continue to motivate you guys doing this time of quarantining. I really, I don't know about y'all, but I just feel like that us being trapped in the house, you know, many of us being forced to stay in, whether you're teleworking or whatever it may be, I really feel like this is a guy appointed time to really deal with their own issues.
Many of us spend so much time working for other people doing things for other people that we spend little time with really diving into ourselves and working on ourselves so that we can become our best selves. And that is the purpose of this podcast today. So as you guys know, I am a relationship coach. So many of my podcasts are relationship type of topics.
And that is this, well, today's podcast will be no different. And basically in this podcast, I wanted to talk about the relationships that you attract. And the reason why I want to talk about those relationships that you attract because these relationships actually say more about you than it does about the other person. And I think we sometimes get, find ourselves in a cycle of disappointments and heartaches until we actually can come to that realization that each and every relationship that we encounter is a reflection of who we are.
It's not by a coincidence that you keep reliving the same type of relationships and new individuals. That's not a coincidence. That's not a string of bad luck. See, we often push the blame of repetitive, toxic relationships onto the next person.
We never really sit down and realize that it is something in us that attracts these type of people. See relationships are mirrors of our inner relationship with ourselves. So for instance, when you feel ugly, you get treated like you're ugly. When you feel unworthy or unlovable, you are a magnet for people who mirror that image in your life, for people who truly, truly show you just how unlovable you are or they treat you as if you're unworthy because this is a feeling that is manifesting within you.
See the truth is you cannot truly have a healthy relationship with yourself and still constantly attract unhealthy relationships. The only way any relationship can really thrive and flourish in your life is when you have a healthy relationship with yourself. I don't find many people that happen to get in toxic relationships by accident. I know many of you guys who have experienced it, maybe going through it now says, man, I really thought he was a good guy and he showed me different and listen, we could probably argue this topic all day long.
But again, I say when you come to that realization and you really, really think about it, there's something that's not healthy with that relationship that you have with yourself. And that is what creates the space for this unhealthy relationship to come into your life and show itself up. See, I truly believe that the universe will continuously repeat your tests until you pass the course, which is often why if we don't take our accountability, if we don't take back our power and realize that we are a mere reflection of the relationships that we encounter, we'll continue going through the cycle. Relationships come to really shed light on those flaws we have that we either refuse to notice or we refuse to confront.
Relationships come to kind of trigger that low self-esteem or that neediness that you have or that fear of being alone that you have until you finally learn to conquer it. But here's the catch. We conquer those issues within ourselves. Once we can really get, come to grips with that low self-esteem and come to grips with our fear of being alone and that neediness that we have, we feel uncomfortable being around those people who produce less than what we know we deserve.
And this is why I constantly, constantly tell you and I'm going to reiterate it, like I do a mini on my podcast when I want to get my point across that relationship, that heartache, that person who did not appreciate you is a reflection of who you are. Some way, somehow that relationship is a mere image of who you are. And so now you want to ask your question, yourself, this question, what image am I portraying out there that I don't want reflected back on me? Am I reflecting an image of insecurity?
Am I reflecting an image of fear surrounded by love because so many people have disappointed me, so many people who said that they love me have disappointed me so much so that I have this fear? Am I reflecting that image in the mirror that every man is going to cheat on me and every man is going to leave me because I'm not worthy of being loved right? Whatever that image is that you're reflecting in that mirror, it's going to look back at you and it's going to show up in your life. So take some of that stress and pressure and responsibility off the other person.
I'm not saying that people are right for doing you wrong. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is you are responsible for you and in any time we have repetitive situations and outcomes show up in our lives. It is less about the other person and it's more about who we are.
So this week, y'all, anybody listen into the sound of my voice, if you are going through relationship issues or if you are at a place of being stuck, if you are at a place of just being sick and tired of being sick and tired of seeing the same outcome replay itself and your life, I challenge you. I give you this homework assignment as your virtual coach to get in tune with who you are. Who you are. A lot of times does not align with who you would want to be and you have to understand that.
Many of us want to be something that we're not yet, that we have yet to become. Many of us and that's okay. But when you can recognize you're not in that space and you're not reflecting that image that you really want to see, only then can you start to make the necessary changes to change the things in your life. Things are not happening to you by coincidence.
It's happening to you by divine design. It's time that you pass the test so you can move on to the next course. Listen, y'all, I just thank you guys for joining me for my short little podcast segment. I love y'all.
