Synopsis: In this first June reflection, we look back on finishing Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Psalms, 1 Kings, and most of 2 Chronicles. Together, we explore three key themes from the reading: God’s faithfulness to His promises, the lasting impact of leadership, and the courage to receive and speak truth.From God preserving David’s line for the coming of Jesus, to the ripple effects of leaders like Rehoboam and Jeroboam, to the bold example of the prophet Micaiah standing before King Ahab, these passages remind us that God remains faithful even when people fail.
