Ep. 56 Jaime Martinez: Retired Combat Medic Helping Homeless Veterans Find Security and Sobriety

from The Mark Howley Show · host Mark Howley

Happy 4th from The Mark Howley Show! We decided to offer this special episode on Independence Day to acknowledge the veterans, military, civic duty officers, police, fire and all members that help protect and serve this country and all they have endured. This special features Jaime Martinez, a retired combat medic and recovering addict working with Summit, the largest behavioral health corporation in the US. He travels all over Arizona and the country to find and identify veterans that need drug and alcohol treatment as well as mental health support. Jaime has an extremely compelling story being a severe drug user, experiencing homelessness, and the loss of his family only to hit a rock bottom "moment of realization" when he completely changed his life around. He says this is what makes him so good at his job. What an honor to hear your story, Jaime and thank you for your service.   Jaime strongly encourages any veteran struggling to reach out from ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYDAY and promises to get you in touch with a VA officer in your area to assist you. Please contact him [email protected] If you or anyone you know is struggling with substance abuse, Mark welcomes a conversation for guidance or support. Please contact him at website markhowleyshow.com.   Lastly, thank you for supporting our podcast! If you liked Jaime's story, check out our other episodes. Please like, follow, subscribe from your listening platform. We appreciate your viewership!
