Welcome to Episode 57 of We've Got This...Maybe! The Podcast! In this episode we’re asking a big question… are we too self-aware now? It feels like everything we do has a reason. Every reaction, every habit, every feeling...we analyse it, label it, and try to understand where it’s come from. But at what point does self-awareness turn into overthinking? We talk about how much things have changed over the past 20–30 years, from how we understand ourselves to how quickly we look for explanations, labels, and diagnoses. Are we becoming more emotionally intelligent… or are we overcomplicating things that used to just be what they were? We explore the pressure to question everything- our behaviours, our past, our parenting, our relationships and whether constantly digging deeper is actually helping us, or just making life feel heavier. It’s a thoughtful, curious and honest conversation with a mix of serious reflection and light-hearted moments, as we try to work out whether self-awareness is a strength… or if sometimes, it’s just not that deep.
