EP.57 | "First Off..."

CERTIFIED. Welcome back to yet another episode of The Certified Platinum Show. With a week of lackluster emotions, we are here yet again to report this week in the culture… T-Pain recalls a story in which Usher tells him that he single-handedly ruined music for real singers… This is quite a large claim to make, especially from an artist that arguably tried to use autotune himself… The crew talks about this story that T-Pain shared, whether it was true or not, and lastly whether it was justified on Usher’s part or just insensitivity…(07:37) DaBaby tweeted that he is in need of a Jay-Z verse… Such a simple and harmless tweet, yet it sent sparks of emotion through the studio LOL…(14:14) It seems like Lil Uzi Vert took a trip to the west, as he was spotted riding tractors and 4x4s on a farm with Kidd G on a new track called “Teenage Dream 2”. Quite an unexpected feature by Lil Uzi Vert, but also not so surprising as well…(32:54) There are MORE stories that aren’t included in these thumbnails...To catch these, make sure you listen to the episode in full!
