It's not officially Opetaia V Thompson fight week at the time of recording this episode, but seeing as 'unofficial' is in the show name, it may as well be, so with that in mind I was joined on this episode by former Australian Olympian and Commonwealth Games representative, promoter, host & creator of Boxing Deep Dive, Lynden Hosking to break it all down. I picked Lynden's brain on some eagerly anticipated matchups starting with Opetaia V Thompson but we also got to Canelo V Charlo (+ u/card) and of course we can't reference Charlo without talking Tim Tszyu and his massive fight with Brian Mendoza in a few weeks time. We also dived in to Lynden's time representing Australia at the highest level in the Olympics and Commonwealth Games, his decision to not turn pro, his path to promoting, the origin and future plans of Boxing Deep Dive and we also discuss our thoughts on the TV broadcast landscape domestically.
