Chris Desmond is a Physiotherapist with a post grad certificate in rehabilitation and a masters in Management and works for TBI Health as a clinic Manager He has worked as a physiotherapist for over a decade but he has also been an athlete for the majority of his life. He has dabbled in many sports including a fair amount of running, everything from the 100m all the way up to his first ultra-marathon last year. He is super enthusiastic about strategically getting out of his comfort zone and the benefits that come along with that. He hosts his own podcast called "Uncomfortable is OK" which explores the science , the stories, and the strategies of getting out of your comfort zone, so you can find where the magic happens. In this interview he dives deep on common injuries for athletes and how to avoid these and what to do when they happen.
